  • Pairs with solar and wind power systems

  • Optional CHP designs available

What is the Wildcat PowerPack?

  • A Wildcat PowerPack is a combination of 2 or more Wildcat gensets that run in parallel and packaged inside an industrial enclosure specifically designed to provide protection from the elements, sound attenuation, and maintain optimal internal temperature levels with radiator louvers and exhaust outlets.

  • A Wildcat PowerPack is managed by controllers with proprietary software and utilizing switchgear to provide the desired power output and to maximize the lifecycle of each genset in parallel with operational duty cycle hour management.

  • A Wildcat PowerPack is scalable because multiple Wildcat Power Packs can be designed and connected to provide megawatts of power as needed.

  • A Wildcat PowerPack is designed to be technician friendly with walk in doors and service ports.

While a traditional genset package provides one level of power supply, a Wildcat PowerPack is made of multiple gensets in parallel, allowing the user to run one, a few, or all of the gensets, as they need it and when they need it.

Building The Proper PowerPack

  1. Is the switchgear currently on site? If so, is there a breaker bucket position that will allow for direct utility tie?

  2. What is the required voltage?

  3. What is the maximum amperage rating required?

  4. Who is the utility and what are their protective relaying requirements?

  5. Are there any real estate constraints for the generator enclosure?

  6. What is the desired fuel: Natural Gas, Propane, or Diesel?

  7. What is the decibel requirement at 7 meters?

  8. Is this a distributed energy project?

  9. Will there be any generator power sold back to the grid?
